Production method for processing glucose syrup from corn grain

1. Corn was crushed to remove the husk and germ, and soaked in sulfur dioxide solution at 47 ~ 50℃ for 16 hours to soften the brittle fiber tissue of corn and separate protein from starch.

2. Grind after soaking, adjust the pH value of the pulp to 6.2 ~ 6.4 with calcium hydroxide, add amylase, and use three-stage liquefaction method to liquidate.The liquid slurry is filtered, and the filtrate is adjusted with hydrochloric acid to the pH value of 1.8 ~ 2, hydrolyzed and saccharified under the pressure of 2.8 kg/cm 2, and then condensed into glucose syrup after the decolorization of activated carbon twice and the treatment of fourth-grade negative and cation exchange resin.

3. The liquefied residue also contains some unused starch, dextrin and oligosaccharide, and the starch juice contains about 20%.Water was added to the slag to 25 baume. Malt was added to make corn caramel.
